Why We Designed This
The Christmas Tee began as a counter-argument: that a Christmas shirt could be illustrated by someone you would otherwise pay for a print, printed on the same heavyweight cotton you would otherwise wear in March, and worn on a December walk without flinching. We work with a handful of illustrators each season, pay them fifteen percent, and put their name on the shirt. We release in drops — a few in September, more in November, a small one in December — and we hold the line at full price. This design offers a thoughtful, distinct option for those seeking a gift with character and lasting appeal for a young person.
